My Favorite Things
When I was a child, I watched The Sound of Music in Korea. The song “My Favorite Things” always reminds me of my favorite things and makes me feel happy instantly.
My daughter - anytime, anywhere. I am in awe of her, from the moment she was born.
Low tides, especially walking, talking, running, and dancing on them during sunset.
Winter sunsets with hours of God’s glorious live light show in the sky.
All sunsets as they disappear into the ocean with a ray of green spark at the end.
Waxing crescent moons filled with hope and possibility.
Growth in every aspect of life: health, wealth, self, and love.
Collaboration with colleagues whose mastery and humility lead to aha-moment solutions.
Brilliant conversations that spark imagination and creativity.
Time spent with friends and family that warms my heart.
Whatever the profession, people who are so committed and so good at what they do that they naturally leave me in awe.
The laughter of children.
Warm sunshine on my skin.
Good hair days.
Long handheld shower heads, or someone who can install mine in a hotel room.
Ocean-view rooms, or any room with a magical view.
Innovative collaboration between humans and machines that changes the trajectory of humanity for the better.
Autonomous driving when it works so well.
Activities with family and friends: travel, golf, pickleball, skiing, hiking, weight lifting, yoga, walking and talking, beach walks, beach cleanups, game nights, karaoke, music, theater, musicals, opera, concerts, wine tasting, making artisan cocktails, Jeffersonian dinners, museums, snorkeling, and learning anything new.
Time for myself: meditation, retreats, panchakarma, sound baths, and massages.
A private moment with my God.
