My 'Lady of the Month'
Goes to Sabrina Kay of California Design College. After seeing her school graduation show at the Beverly Hilton, I saw what incredible things she has done for the fashion industry. There was more talent than I had seen in a long time, and I was delighted to know the woman that made this all happen. I believe Sabrina really started the commercial use of computers for designing and pattern making. Well, if she didn't start it, she made it all possible for many students. The good old days of pattern making had come to an abrupt halt, and there was a new and faster way to do things. She was very special and thanks to her we have a whole new crop of designers destined to be stars and headliners. Congratulations, Miss Kay, we love you. << Back
