Trendsetters in TV

Last week, the California Design College's graduating class highlighted "Trendsetters in Television." The tribute was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and the audience was treated to a showcase of TV's rich history through fashion, depicting the impact of clothing styles from TV's early days to today's programs. Stars of the medium participating in the event included June Lockhart, who represented the sock-hopping 50s; Dawn Wells, representing the rebellious 60s;

Lindsay Wagner as the liberated woman of the 70s; Donna Mills, John Forsythe and Joan Van Ark revisited the glamorous 80s; Leigh Taylor Young, the designing woman of the 90s; Matt Cedeno looked toward the new millenium; and Melody Thomas Scott remembered classic weddings.
